This week we’re celebrating the 5-year anniversary of The Pizza Show at the Hollandsche Manege.
Who would have thought that starting a pop-up pizzeria would grow into something this big?
The idea felt simple: the best pizza chefs in the most unique venues
It all started as a passion project. For the love of pizza. For the love of our Italian heritage. For the love of food, family, creating something together, Italy... or maybe just because.
And to be honest, it started as a hobby. And somehow, it still is.
Running The Pizza Show alongside our full-time jobs isn’t always easy. It takes a lot of our time and energy, but it’s all worth it because we’re building something we truly believe in. Something no Italian had really thought of before: bringing pizzerias to the most unexpected places.
If we had told our families five years ago that we’d open a pizzeria inside a church, they probably would have called us crazy. But we did it.
And not just in churches.
From the iconic A’DAM Tower to historic churches, warehouses, horse riding schools and so many other incredible venues, we’ve brought pizza to places where you’d never expect to find a pizzeria.
Who knows where we’ll be in another five years?
One thing is for sure: over the next two weeks we’re going to celebrate. With our friends, our guests, our chefs, our staff, our partners and everyone who has been part of this journey.
Because no pizza, no party.
