A little late sharing this beautiful July memory from South Africa 🇿🇦

As a Chef myself, I’m always excited to discover new flavours and food traditions — so I surprised my passionate foodie husband with a Malaysian Sunday Sappadu by Fire By Shankar

Served traditionally on a banana leaf and eaten with our fingers, it was a beautiful explosion of spice, aroma, coconut, tang and heat. Every bite was a new combination of flavours, textures and tradition.

For me, it was inspiring to experience the food through another Chef’s hands. I also got a little sneak peek behind the scenes, courtesy of Chef Franko! For my husband, it was simply foodie heaven!

More than just a meal, it was a celebration of tradition, culture and incredible food.
A delicious memory we’re still talking about.

What an amazing evening collaborating with a beautiful up-and-coming South African pub, The Green MamBar in Hilversum 🇿🇦

We served one of Durban’s most popular street foods, the famous Bunny Chow. The response was incredible! It was such a special feeling bringing a taste of home to our South African community in NL.

A special thank you to the owners Asia & Richard for being such warm, kind and welcoming hosts. It makes all the difference in the Hospitality Industry. I’m truly grateful they reached out and that everything came together perfectly. The atmosphere, the people, and the support made the evening a huge success.

It was also wonderful meeting some of my customers face-to-face. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us! ❤️
