Located on the most central location of Nicaragua, only 10 km north of Granada and 8km west of Masaya, with the view on a pristine gorgeous Crater lake. Unique is that our eco resort is located in the middle of the Laguna Apoyo Natural Reserve in the crater mouth, it is their where "we are the Guests" of the white face and Howler monkeys that live in this Tropical Forest Eco System surrounding our resort. The Reserve is managed by the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (MARENA) and it is unique that we have our resort in the middle of this Reserve but it means also that we took the highest responsibility to live in symbioses with nature in and around our Eco Nature Resort. The Crater lake and the forest have unique animals you will find nowhere else ( link to special page with nature info, taken from Wikipedia), 500 species of plants and tropical dry trees, over 200 species of birds have been documented in the reserve and 220 species of butterflies and there are many reptiles and mammals, like Pacas, Squirrels, Opposums and wild cats like Jaguarund and Parrots etc. Nicaragua initiated many years ago protection laws for unique natural areas and the Laguna de Apoyo is one of them and so rare, you will not find a comparable Nature Reserve and Eco Lodge resort in Latin America. The Laguna Beach Club at Laguna de Apoyo is a place to relax, to reconnect with nature, with yourself, with your loved ones.
