A few years ago, if someone had told me that I would smile through some of the battles I've faced, I probably wouldn't have believed them.
There were days I cried in private and smiled in public.
Days I questioned God.
Days I wondered if the things I was praying for would ever happen.
But one thing I've learned is this:
Life has a way of teaching you gratitude through the things you survived.
Today, I may not have everything I once prayed for, but I have something just as precious:
β¨ Peace I didn't have before.
β¨ Strength I didn't know I possessed.
β¨ Wisdom that only experience can teach.
These days, I smile more.
I pray more.
I worry less.
I've survived things that could have broken me, but God used them to build me.
I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm no longer where I used to be.
So here's to the woman who kept going...
The woman who prayed through the pain...
The woman who chose gratitude over bitterness...
β€οΈ Still standing.
β€οΈ Still smiling.
β€οΈ Still believing.
Sometimes we are so busy chasing the next blessing that we forget we are already living in prayers we once whispered to God.
Today, I pause and simply say:
"Thank You, Lord, for the battles I won, the ones I survived, and even the ones that made me stronger."
Small package.
Big energy.
Blessed.
Focused.
Grateful.
Unbothered.
Unapologetically ME. β€οΈ
