I remember the first Afang farm I visited, it belonged to an elderly woman(one of my mentors now). She told me the millions she makes every week just by selling afang.

Na wash! That was my first thought when she said that. I just felt it was her own strategy to get me to always patronize her.

Fast forward to one day, my mum was paid 500k by a company who came to buy uziza leave. Right there, my eyes opened. I began to see vegetable business as another oil money.

Today, we own two Afang farms worth millions. Selling in our local markets, and some African stores around the globe. We’ve got caterers who we process for which makes their work easier.

Just like Ukwa is reserved for the big men at an Igbo event, Inagha is the real MVP at an Akwa ibom event. If your Afia efere(white soup) and Afang soup don’t have Inagha in it, my sister, you never cook food be that.(Akwa ibom people, I lie, Abi I no lie)?

Anyways, if you are reading this, just know we are already in the fish market. Sourcing lots of dried sweet fishes. From, Inagha, Ukpek(eja abo), shinenose, red snapper, calabar stick fish…… just name it.

Traditional wedding loading, and we’re making sure the fish section is fully represented😋
