What was holding me back from selling my beautiful soaps despite being in a crowded location?😔🥺
I had a prime spot at the Tuesday market, a small T-junction where people converged from all directions, yet I struggled to make sales. My soaps were not only beautiful but also foamy, yet buyers would often say, 'Ahh, see fine soap, I didn't see you on time, but I've already bought soap from another vendor, don't worry, I'll buy from you next week.' They'd leave, but not before turning back to admire my soaps. This pattern continued for months.
I realized that being in a busy location wasn't enough. I decided to relocate to a spot near the market entrance, where people from neighboring towns arrived. As fate would have it, I found a spot close to a motorbike park, and while it wasn't as crowded as my previous location, I started making sales immediately. I noticed that my first location, although crowded, made it difficult for people to see me from afar, resulting in low sales. In contrast, my new location allowed people to see me and my soaps from a distance, giving them time to decide to make a purchase, hence the increase in sales.
Sometimes, being in a crowded spot can overshadow your strengths, but being in a less crowded location can be the key to unlocking your full potential and shining bright for all to see.😊
