Bread rolls
Full recipe:
400gm All purpose flour
60gms sugar
8gms instant yeast
1 egg
250ml of warm milk
75gms of butter/ margarine
*5gm/1 teaspoon of salt if using unsalted butter

Procedure:
Combine All the dry ingredients together (flour, sugar, salt and yeast) until well incorporated.

Add your egg followed by milk and start combining. After 5min go in with your hands and start kneading for 3min then add in your margarine or butter and continue kneading until you achieve a soft dough.

Place your dough in a bowl and cover it and let it double in size (keep in a warm place) for 1 hr.

After double in size deflate you dough by removing any trapped air. Divide your dough in 20 parts and make ball of each.

Place the made Balls in a baking tin and cover for one hours till they double in size.

Brush the balls with egg wash or milk before baking them in preheated oven at 180°c for 15-20min (depends on your oven ) just be keen not to burn them.

Remove from the oven once they turn golden brown brush over them with butter or margarine.

Let them cool then serve with a cup of coffee, Tea or Soup.

*Bread rolls are mostly served with soup
*Preheat your oven atlist 10min for 180°c before baking.
*If you find your dinner rolls are browning too fast then place them on the third lower rack of your oven.
*You can skip the salt if you are using salted butter or margarine.
