Sometimes life and business will test your strength in ways you never expected.
Within just 2 weeks, we lost two major catering jobs. The first was from a new client worth over ₦500,000, and the second was from one of our loyal customers the worth over a Million Naira. Both were wedding events we were fully prepared and confident to deliver excellently.
To be honest, it hurt deeply. Especially knowing that we had the capacity, experience, and passion to make those events successful. Somehow, influence and opinions from others changed the direction of the jobs.
The funny part of the second deal was that every other vendor I introduced — the decorator, the live goat asun vendor, and others — all got their jobs successfully. I was the only one left out.
But despite everything, we refuse to be discouraged.
At Take-Home Party Rice and More (Catering Service & Events Planning), we are still building, still learning, still growing, and we will never give up. We believe that with consistency, persistence, dedication, and excellence, our time will surely come.
Every disappointment is not the end. Sometimes God allows setbacks to prepare us for something bigger, better, and greater.
We may lose some opportunities today, but we will not lose our vision, our passion, or our faith.
