On Day 1, these were tiny chicks that needed warmth, proper feeding, clean water and close attention.
Fast-forward 30 days… look at them now!
This growth doesn’t happen by accident. Good nutrition, proper management, hygiene, adequate water and regular observation all play important roles.
And one important lesson I’ve learned is that every bird doesn’t grow at exactly the same rate, so we keep weighing and monitoring them.
Alhamdulillah for the progress so far.
30 days down… and the journey continues! 💪🏽

🐔WHY WE SEPARATE THE BIGGER BIRDS FROM THE SMALLER ONES ⚖️

One thing I’ve learned in poultry farming is that not all birds grow at the same rate.
When you have very big birds and much smaller birds together, the bigger ones can dominate the feeders and drinkers. This can make it harder for the smaller birds to get enough feed and water.
That’s why separating them by size can help:
✅ Smaller birds get better access to feed and water.
✅ It reduces competition at the feeder.
✅ You can monitor the smaller birds more closely.
✅ It makes it easier to track their growth and progress.
✅ It can help you manage the flock more evenly.

So instead of allowing the small ones to struggle among the big ones, we give them a better chance to catch up.
Poultry farming is not just about feeding birds; you have to observe them and manage them according to their needs.
Big birds here ➡️ Small birds there. Everybody gets a fair chance! 😂

DAY 27 — WEIGHT CHECK
Today’s weighing gave us 1.7kg on one side and 720g on the other
Same batch, same farm, but look at that difference! This is why weighing your birds regularly is so important. You can’t always tell their progress just by looking at them.
Growth can vary because of genetics, feed intake, health and early chick development.
Our 1.7kg baby is doing amazingly well , while our 720g little one still needs extra attention and monitoring.
Every bird has its own growth journey. We keep feeding, caring and watching. Alhamdulillah!

Day 26 of our broiler journey At this stage, our focus is on good-quality feed, clean water, proper ventilation, hygiene, and enough space because their growth is really picking up now.

We keep watching, weighing, feeding and learning every day. 🥰
Day 26 — and we’re still growing! 💪🐔❤️

DAY 24: THEY THOUGHT WE GAVE THEM A PLAYGROUND! 😂

Day 24 of our broiler journey!
Today was bedding-change day, and the moment we put down fresh, clean litter, these babies started scratching, pecking and jumping around like, “Wait… is this for us to play with?” 😂😂
But there’s actually something important behind what we did today.
Clean and dry bedding is very important for broilers. As they grow, they produce more droppings, and dirty or wet litter can increase ammonia, create an uncomfortable environment and contribute to problems with their feet and respiratory health.
That’s why we regularly check the litter and remove or replace areas that are wet or heavily soiled. We also pay extra attention around the drinkers because spilled water can quickly make the bedding wet.
And look at them!
Instead of being stressed by the change, they immediately started exploring their fresh environment. That’s one of the little moments that makes all the cleaning worth it.
From tiny chicks to these active 24-day-old broilers… Alhamdulillah, look how far we’ve come!
