The aroma of mint is very calming in nature which can be used in aromatherapy to beat stress.
Do you know that you can make mint oil yourself and to the tune of your preferred concentrate?
1. Wash the mint leaves and mash it to very tiny bits. This helps to release the oil faster.
2. Stuff in a spacious dark glass container.
3. Fill with any base oil (coconut oil, almond oil, etc) of your choice or any alcohol (preferably odorless vodka).
4. Stir together, cover airtight and keep away from direct sunlight.
5. Allow to sit for 4-8 weeks depending on urgency of use. You will need to shake it in-between this period of time to speed up decomposition and and extraction of oil.
