"I started my music career as a rapper, but when I saw other young people like Wizkid really making waves with Afrobeats in Nigeria, I had to leave school in America and travel to Nigeria. I just wanted to learn and interact with people my age. I didn't want any special treatment because my dad was rich—I just wanted to be a normal kid, like many of them. Wizkid and I were very cool when I first arrived, and we did many freestyles together."
