Celebrating Diwali 🎆 with traditional Indian sweets (mithai) is a symbol of happiness.

Lighting diya (candles) 🪔 is a paramount element of the festival as it signifies purity, good luck, goodness and power.
Also, this festival of lights falls on a new moon day, hence presence of light means the non-existence of darkness and evil forces.

Rangoli is an art form made with colors, limestone or rice on the floor which represents positivity and liveliness of the household, and is intended to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good luck.

Keeping all these quintessentials of Diwali in mind, I designed an exclusive rangoli inspired dessert at with an edible chocolate diya 🪔 and an artistic mix of traditional Mithai.
