Someone asked me recently, “Why are you learning how to cook and bake?”
And my answer was simple: my learners.
I want to be able to teach them how to cook. I want to teach them how to bake. I want them to have practical skills they can use for themselves, for their families, and maybe one day even turn into something bigger.
So, if I want to teach them, I have to learn it myself first.
Then the person asked me, “So what are you doing for yourself?”
And I thought about it.
Honestly, I think I do more for people than I do for myself. 😂
But when it comes to me, I read. I research. I learn. I develop my brain. I ask questions. I try to understand things I don't know.
That's my own thing.
I may be learning baking because I want to give something to my learners, but I'm also constantly learning because I don't ever want to stop growing.
I really love the idea of knowing something today that I didn't know yesterday.
And maybe that's why I'm always picking up something new. ❤️
