A LITTLE MORE TIME. A MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE. 🤍

To everyone who has been looking forward to welcoming MATIN & EATS BY CELEBRAZIONI this Sunday, we see you. And we are deeply grateful.

We know some of you have made plans, rearranged schedules, invited friends, and even purchased tickets in anticipation of our special opening. For that, we are truly sorry.

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to move our opening by two weeks.

We are incredibly close, but there are still a few technical and operational details that need to be fine-tuned. And while we could open as scheduled, we know the experience we have envisioned for you deserves better than almost ready.

MATIN is being built with intention. EATS BY CELEBRAZIONI is being built with intention. And our first day with you matters to us.

We would rather take the additional time to get every detail right than welcome you before we are completely ready to give you the experience we promised.

To everyone who has made plans around this opening, thank you for your patience, your excitement and your understanding. We genuinely do not take it for granted.

Your tickets and reservations will be honoured for the new opening date, and further details will be communicated shortly.

Two more weeks.

A little more patience.

And then, finally… we open our doors. 🤍

There are moments in life when you have to pause… look around… and simply say, “God, thank You.”

Today is one of those moments for me.

In 2018, I found myself at a crossroads. I had worked as a restaurant manager, worked my way through operations, chain restaurants and clubs, and then, unexpectedly, I got fired.

What felt like an ending became the beginning of something I could never have imagined.

On the 5th of September 2018, I started Celebrazioni Catering fully with the phrase- If I perish I perish

I didn’t have all the answers. I didn’t know exactly where the journey would take me. I just knew I had to start.

Eight years later, that little beginning has evolved into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

And today, I am standing inside a dream that has taken more than a year of planning, building, sourcing, sleepless nights, difficult decisions, mistakes, corrections, prayers, sacrifices and an incredible team to bring to life.

Sometimes I honestly struggle to find the words because I know what it took to get here.

I am grateful to God for the journey.
Grateful for every door that opened and even the ones that closed.
Grateful for my team who believed, pushed, worked and built with me.
Grateful for everyone who has supported Celebrazioni over the years.

And most importantly, I am grateful that the story is still being written.

MATIN was carefully curated to be more than just a place to eat breakfast. We wanted to create an experience — an immersive experience that makes you pause, explore, taste, feel and remember.

The kind of place that, if you are visiting Port Harcourt for the first time, someone tells you:

“You cannot leave without experiencing MATIN.”

And so, today, I share a little glimpse of what we have built.

This is only the beginning.

MATIN (MAH-THAUN) is here to stay.

From a difficult ending in 2018… to a dream standing before me in 2026.

God has been good.
