BEHIND THE COUNTER 💚🧡

Episode: We’re Growing, One Plate At A Time

Behind every plate of food is a team that cares about getting it right

At Kings Treat Foods LTD, we celebrate the busy days, the happy customers, the sold-out moments and even the little lessons that come with building something meaningful

Every day behind the counter teaches us something new

A better way to prepare
A better way to serve
A better way to listen
A better way to create an experience worth coming back for

And that is what makes this journey exciting

We may not be where we want to be yet, but we are definitely not where we started

One meal
One customer
One improvement
One day at a time

We are building

And we are enjoying every part of the journey

This is Behind the Counter; the story behind Kings Treat Foods LTD

WE’RE BUILDING MORE THAN A FOOD COMPANY🧡

Kings Treat Foods LTD started with a simple belief:

Food should be more than something you eat. It should be an experience

But as we grow, we’ve discovered another problem people face every day:

“Who can I trust to get this done?”

A cook
A caterer
A decorator
A photographer
A videographer
A DJ
Or the right professional for a specific need

That question inspired our next venture:

KINGS TREAT REFER

YOU ASK. WE REFER

A digital professional referral platform that connects people and businesses with suitable professionals based on relevance, reputation, proximity, availability and experience

You tell us what you need
We make the introduction
You choose
You agree
You get the job done

We’re starting in Enugu, and we're deliberately building a network people can trust

So, if you're a Chef, Cook, Kitchen Assistant, Caterer, Decorator, Photographer, Videographer, DJ, or another professional providing valuable services,

we want to know you👌

If you're reliable, experienced and serious about your work, send us a DM with your name/business name, service, location and portfolio

We’re not building the biggest network
We’re building a trusted one

KINGS TREAT REFER

YOU ASK WE REFER

You have a need

We have the network

19,000 OF YOU!

19,000 people following the Kings Treat journey

19,000 people watching us cook, serve, experiment, grow and build

Thank you❤️

And because growth should always come with something new…

TOMORROW, WE ADD SOMETHING NEW TO THE MENU🍛🔥

🫘 Porridge Beans
🐟 Fried Fish

And yes… we're bringing them together with what you already love:

Kings Treat Smokey Jollof
Beans
Fish
Chicken
Beef
Boiled Egg
Plantain
Coleslaw

You can even build your own Rice & Beans combination😋

We're starting small, testing, listening and growing with you

From our kitchen at Kings Treat Foods LTD, thank you for being part of this journey

Saturday Evening — Kings Treat Journal

Some businesses are built with plenty

Others are built with faith

You start with what you have, learn as you go, make mistakes, adjust, try again… and keep showing up

That is part of the Kings Treat Foods LTD story

Every plate we serve, every customer who returns, every idea we develop and every challenge we overcome is teaching us something about the kind of food company we want to become

We are still building

Still learning

Still dreaming bigger

And one day, we’ll look back at these Saturday evenings and remember that this was where it all started to make sense

The journey is the story👌

WE'RE NOT JUST BUILDING A FOOD BUSINESS

We're building a food ecosystem

When we started Kings Treat Foods LTD, it would have been easy to focus only on selling plates of food

But we started asking bigger questions:

What else can we build around food?

What if we could make Nigerian food more accessible, create better food experiences, support farmers, create jobs and connect talented people with opportunities?

That's where the bigger vision began

Today, we're building across different parts of the value chain:

🍚 Ready Meals : bringing quality native food to everyday customers

🍽️ Catering & Food Experiences : creating memorable food experiences for individuals, organisations and events

🌱 Farm Fresh : connecting customers with quality, fresh food products closer to the source

👨🏾‍🍳 Kings Treat Refer : connecting chefs, cooks and kitchen professionals with homes, restaurants, hotels and caterers looking for the right talent

Because we believe a food company can do more than sell food

It can create opportunities

It can connect people

It can develop talent

It can support other businesses

It can create jobs

And it can contribute to preserving and celebrating the food culture that makes us Nigerian

We're still early

We're still learning

We're still building

But the vision is becoming clearer every day:

Build a Nigerian food company that becomes bigger than the plate

That's what we're building at Kings Treat Foods LTD

And we're just getting started👌
