let us talk about the delicious treasures of our great nation, Nigeria! Our local delicacies are a reflection of our rich cultural heritage and diverse traditions. From the savory flavors of the north to the spicy dishes of the south, Nigeria is a culinary paradise.

In the north, we have the famous Tuwo Masara, a thick corn pudding served with a variety of soups and stews. And let's not forget the mouthwatering Suya, thinly sliced pieces of meat grilled to perfection over an open flame.

*The Nigeria soup*
I don't think anything can beat the Nigeria soup delicacies.

Starting from the East,travel down to the west and take a bus stop to the North!

I love to travel to European countries, go on vacations, enjoy the life of been adventurious which includes touring round the global world.

But most especially, having a blast to their numerous native and soup delicacies.

Regardless, I don't think it will beat the Nigerian ofe Egusi,
Ofe uha,
Ofe obolo na okoro,
Ofe onugbo,
Ofe owerre,
Ofe okazi na nsala,
Is it ofe okazi nsala na uzizia,
Ofe Akukwor(vegetable soup),
Or the Eforiri of the west...
Ewedu and gbegiri....

the thought of this soups is making me crave for them. Lol!

Abi the meia-kuka of the northern main dish. and so much more I can't place my brains now...

There is something about Nigeria soups.
they are not too spicy but blended with oporoko(stock fish), crayfish,mangala,dried cat fish,Kanda(kpomo) isam(periwinkle),can do well with goat meat or fresh water fishes along with nama(cow meat).. thickened with your favorite thicker and ogiri or iru and your choice of vegetable/ leafs, serve with semo,fufu,corn-meal, or even the normal eba(made garri)

And you tell me I will find such heaven in another man's land...

We die here in niger. we die here with our local delicacies 🤤

SALADS

One thing I love about salads is that, it can be served at any time of the day, they are mostly cool and refreshing in hot weather.

The raw green-leaved vegetables supply some of the water required by the system.

Cooked vegetables can also be used when fresh veggies are not available.

Fruits such as avocado pears, oranges,grape fruit or bananas,water melon, avocado,sweet corn, can also be included as they add interest, variety,and flavor to the dish.

One beautiful thing about salads is it's nature of 'Rule-less game' you can add what so ever combination of fruit or vegetables to crown your meal.

Salads can be an attractive way of using up leftovers.

One distinctive type of salad is the protein salad as it composes of meat,fish, chicken,egg or cheese, dressed with your favorite cream.
This sort of salad is served as a separate course.

Food value of salads:
_Salad play an important role in the diet, as they are excellent sources of the protective foods.

_Green and yellow vegetables contain vitamin A. As the vegetables are eaten raw, Vitamin C is not lost.

_Cellulose forms roughage and helps the body to get rid of waste matter.
The flavour of the salad stimulates the digestive juices.

_Oil and eggs used in the dressing increases the food value. Protein foods and starchy foods also add to the food value.

While preparing salads, please use ingredients of best quality.

Wash and prep Ingredients equally. This helps the salad look very appealing and interesting.
