Abuja, Nigeria – June 13, 2024 – Pearls Kitchen Abuja is proud to announce the inaugural edition of its food exhibition campaign, an event dedicated to showcasing the rich and diverse delicacies of Nigerian cuisine.
This groundbreaking event, themed "Promoting the Rich Nigerian Food Culture," is set to take place on July 4, 2024, and will be hosted by the esteemed Retired Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Tourism (2012) and Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (2012-2014), Mrs. Ibukun Odusote []
Mrs. Odusote, a passionate advocate for Nigerian food heritage, conceived this event with the vision of presenting Nigeria's culinary treasures to the world. "This first edition focuses on showcasing “Special Rice Delicacies," stated Mrs. Odusote during the press briefing. "Initiatives like this will promote local foods at affordable prices and positively impact the Nigerian economy at large. Therefore, we encourage partnerships for these events."
The Special Guest of honor and Chief Taster for the event will be Honourable Dr. Dayo Benjamins - Laniyi [] a well-known figure in the community, who promotes women initiatives aimed at youth empowerment and national integration, will lend her esteemed palate to the celebration of Nigeria's rich culinary tradition.
