Meet the artist: Alanis Engelbrecht aka "The Bitch Fatale"

A visual storyteller, Alanis studied Visual Communication and has an Honours Degree in Graphic Design.

Inspired by anime and post modern theory, she likes to deconstruct and question old beliefs and values systems through her work by creating “ugly” art.

Join us Wednesday 17 May at 19h00 for her first solo exhibition "Vamps, Tramps, Babes & Bi***es" presented by Efano Efano.

EFANO EFANO presents "Vamps, Tramps, Babes & Bi***es" by the Bitch Fatale.

Their artwork deconstructs the idea of the "femme fatale" by depicting a darker side of feminine energy – beyond the male gaze and societal expectations of what a woman should be.
