We are proud to announce that we finally have undertaken the QMS exam. As we strive to be abreast with current trends and equip ourselves with skills that responds to current industry demands and needs. Passing this exam puts us in a vantage position as Trainers, auditors and Inspectors, it also enhances our understanding on how to assess the quality management systems of producer groups and multisite producers according to GLOBALG.A.P. standards.

It is our duty and responsibility to keep ourselves abreast with the latest developments and trends in the sector. We have successfully completed the training on the latest and current version six (6) of the “revamped” PFA-levels. Primary Farm Assurance (PFA) is an entry-level program designed to assess good agricultural practices in developing economies and emerging markets. Offering a stepping stone to the flagship GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) standard, PFA contains three levels (Entry, Intermediate, and Advanced) and has a shorter list of requirements than IFA, making the solution more accessible to smallholders.

“An organic farmer is the best peacemaker today, because there is more violence, more death, more destruction, more wars, through a violent industrial agricultural system. And to shift away from that into an agriculture of peace is what organic farming is doing”. ~ Vandana Shiva

Of all the “new”/ “old” management approaches in agroecosystems, Agroecology will always be on top of our list for the following reasons; It is applicable everywhere, very cheaply adoptable by small holder farmers because of its use of organic agricultural inputs, socially just, environmentally aware and economically viable.

This is what regenerative farming can look like. This is a picture of the Eden Project in Cornwall, England. Unlike conventional monoculture planting, this polyculture system diversifies the soil life, making plants less susceptible to pests and disease. (Photo by Franie Treetops @ Flickr).

Regenerative farming applies the Buddhist wisdom of pratītyasamutpāda (dependent origination) and inter-being to agriculture. One could also describe this as aligning with the ecological wisdom of Nature, what some African cultures call "ubuntu" - the Indigenous wisdom that all LIFE is interdependently related as a whole, and thrives best as One family -🙏💕
