We at Café Sol and the Companhia do Café de Maputo, are passionate about coffee and our belief that a high quality coffee experience can be enjoyed in Mozambique. The Companhia do Café de Maputo has now brought a great coffee tradition back into Mozambique by importing fairly traded green beans from Eastern Africa's Malawian Highlands and roasting them locally ... at Café Sol. We have placed all our energies into tasting and testing our coffee beans in order to find what we believe is its optimal flavor characteristics. Our standard coffees sold are Ebony, Expresso, Full city. Most popular blends are our City Dragon. Apart from selling the finest coffee that southern Africa has the offer we offer the finest foods from around the world. We offer our clients something different from the standard Mozambican fare. Our main focus is to offer our clients just that. You can expect to find Italian bruschettas, Cameroonian Peanut Chicken, Enchiladas in Green Salsa, Burgundy Beef, Philippine Adobo chicken, Matapa with Crab, Vegetarian Chili, Ratatouille, homemade desserts and everyone's favorite, the Chocolate chip cookie. Some call our menu items "multi cultural feel good food". Our specials do not include the deep fried, unless you make a special order.
