Hollywood Restaurant was established by in 1945. Before that it was just a regular cafe or coffee shop, but it slowly grew and became a restaurant. The Restaurant served authentic Hainanese and seafood. Plus we also provide food catering services for people who want to throw birthday parties and etc. So come on down and taste the food that is going to be dancing in your taste bud when you are eat it.

We are officially announcing that Penang old time Hollywood Hainan Restaurant is now closed. We thank our beloved customers all throughout the decades, young and old for the wonderful support.

We thank our lovely, brave, amazing and fighter Mr Weechong Tan for all the years of dedication, through up and downs, tsunami and ultimately his final battle with , he will truly be missed and also the amazing restaurant that most people grew up in spent their childhood at. We, from the bottom of our heart truly and appreciate the support you, the customers and friends have given us and will never be forgotten
