Workshop pekaka Welcome to Pekaka Cafe especially set up for youths with special needs. This is a platform for them to be able to serve the society!

Your support is very valuable to them. PEKAKA is registered under the Registration of Societies Act (1966) of Malaysia. The society was formed in November 1998 by several parents of children with special needs to provide assistance to our children in acquiring quality education. OUR GOAL is QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL

OUR MISSION is to :

• advocate quality education for all children with special needs in an inclusive environment in normal school
• prepare children with special needs to attend normal schools by providing the necessary skills through an early intervention programme
• cultivate public awareness on the right of every child to receive inclusive education in normal school
• ensure that children with special needs can attend their neighbourhood schools

Academy of Business Malaysia(ABM) Visit Our PEKAKA Workshop

We were happy to welcome students from Academy of Business Malaysia to PEKAKA Workshop as part of their assignment.

During the visit, they spent time learning about our workshop activities, observing our baking process, trying hands-on bread making, and speaking with our team members at PEKAKA Café.

It was a meaningful opportunity to share what we do at PEKAKA — creating a supportive environment where our trainees can learn practical skills, build confidence, and participate in meaningful work.

Thank you to the students and lecturers from Academy of Business Malaysia for visiting us and taking the time to learn more about PEKAKA. ❤️
