From Penang to World of Coffee Bangkok

For a small ticket price, the experience here is priceless.

Tasting coffees that are usually hard to access — especially Gesha — meeting farm owners, roasters, and passionate people from around the world reminded us how deep the coffee industry really is.

More than just drinking coffee, this trip is about learning, exploring, and bringing new inspiration back home to TVK.

This is only the beginning.

seoul didn’t ask me to fall in love with its coffee scene. it just happened.
coming from penang — where i roast my own beans and lose sleep over brew variables — i wasn’t sure what to expect from a city famous for running on americano.
but seoul surprised me.

— drip coffee, Colombia Gesha. floral, clean, the kind of cup that makes you stop mid-sip and just stare into the distance.

— drip coffee, Ethiopia Gesha. if the first cup was a conversation, this one was a monologue. it didn’t need you to say anything back.

— a latte on Ethiopia beans. proof that specialty doesn’t have to be serious. milk and all, the origin still showed up.

two Geshas in one day. both drip. both from different worlds — Colombia and Ethiopia — and both reminding me why i got into this in the first place.

nobody says pour over here. it’s drip coffee. americano runs through this city like oxygen. but underneath all that, there are people treating these beans with real, quiet seriousness.

24-hour transit in Manila, so of course… we had to hunt for coffee. Found this cute spot and instantly loved the setup.

Managed to explore Intramuros and swing by SM Mall too short trip, but packed with vibes.

My very first coffee beans customer.

Thank you boss .ent 🙏🏼

To be honest, I’m really not ready yet to sell beans roasted by TVK. I’m still new to roasting, still learning, still figuring things out. Even the packaging pun belum ready.

You came for a simple, informal cupping session — nothing fancy and still decided to trust me enough to bring the Yunnan Melon beans into your café.

That one really hit me. Thank you for the trust.

If anyone wants to try, you can drop by Tentang Rasa Café and taste it there first. No big claims, just coffee I’m learning to get better at.

Slowly, one step at a time.

Minggu lepas, TVK Coffee dijemput untuk handle coffee catering untuk sebuah rumah terbuka di Penang.

500 pax.
Set up kami: 2 espresso machine + 4 crew.

Sebagai engineer, kami tak rely on “agak-agak”.
Semua flow dah plan dari grinding sampai serve.

Fokus kami bukan sekadar kopi sedap,
tapi fast, consistent & smooth service.

Result?
500 cups served. Queue terkawal. Customer happy.

Alhamdulillah 🙏

Dari home-based coffee setup,
sekarang dah boleh handle high volume event.

Kalau korang ada event & tak nak tetamu beratur panjang,
TVK Coffee got you.

Selamat menyambut hari raya, ampun maaf dipinta.

Tamat dah bulan Ramadan yang penuh berkat.

Untuk TVK Coffee, moreh tahun ni antara yang paling ramai mai sejak kami renovate kedai dan cuba position sebagai homebased coffee shop yang buat kopi betui-betui. Dan ramai kawang baru yang kami jumpa dan kenal.

Kalau tahun lepas average dalam 3–5 cup / hari (2 jam),
tahun ni waktu moreh boleh capai 8–10 cup (2 jam).

Kami memang sangat bersyukur dan hargai support hangpa semua dekat kedai kopi kecik kami.

Dalam bulan Ramadan ni juga, bila ada masa free, kami mula belajar panggang kopi sendiri.

Slow-slow improve.
