Coffee fun facts you didn’t know you needed:
🐐 Coffee was discovered in the 9th century goat herders! The goats would actually eat the coffee cherries and get excited so the farmers decided to try it out themselves.
🎹 Beethoven loved coffee and would use EXACTLY 60 beans for his cuppa.
🇫🇮 The average Finnish consumes around 12kgs of coffee per year which amounts to over 1600 cups! That’s almost 3 cups a day!
🇲🇾 While most people think there are 2 types of coffee beans; Arabica & Robusta, there is also Liberica and Malaysia grows them! It has 25% (ish) less caffeine than Arabica, so if you’re really craving a cup in the evening but don’t want to stay up til 3am, a cup of Liberica coffee would be perfect!
🌍 Coffee can only grown within the bean belt and the trees grown in different altitude tend to produce different tasting notes!
Now you know! 🤍
Till next time, people! 👋🏼
