Happy New Year everyone! 🎉

It’s a new year, but still the same Atap! We’re still keeping ourselves busy with our new space project, and the funding continues with the help of Atap’s Pick: Ethiopia Yabitu Koba Washed Heirloom. Newly restocked, it comes in two different roast profiles—light and very light—suitable for filter and even espresso. DM us or walk in to our shop to purchase. Thank you for the roasting and thank you to everyone who has supported us! 🫶🏻

Also, here is the list of new coffees for our filter brew bar for the first month of 2026! We have brewers collective from , Sarawak Liberica coffee from and , fruity Ethiopian beans from , some geisha beans from , and other nice beans from .

As with every year, we hope to keep the good coffee and great brews going! 💪🏻☕️

We have a new Atap’s Pick — Ethiopia Yabitu Koba Washed Heirloom — now available for serving and purchase to help fund our new project ✨

We cupped these beans at .asia two months ago and really loved them. Huge thanks to for the amazing roast! 🫘

For this month’s espresso seasonal, we’re serving Ethiopian beans from .jp — thank you for the purchase. 🤝

P.S. Our shop will be closed on 13 & 14 November for some maintenance and will be back to brewing as usual from 15 November onwards. Thank you and see you around! 🙏😊

2025 Lever Espresso Championship was definitely a memorable one, filled with small surprises and fun moments. It’s truly amazing to see how every competitor pulls lever shots in their own unique and creative way. Thank you to everyone who came to join this event, it was really meaningful to us.

Counting down to 2 days! Here’s the list of competitors we have for the Malaysia Lever Espresso Championship 2025! 🥳🥳

Happening on this coming Saturday, 1st November 2025. Competition will start at 10 a.m. for the preliminary round, then the semifinal and, lastly, the final round until 7 p.m.

Come by to support your favourite baristas and brewers in action on stage. We will have delicious food and amazing coffee offered by .my , as well as lever coffee experience guided by . Also, we will have some DJs playing cool vinyl records to lit up the competition! It’s gonna be a fun day, we will see you there! 🔥🙌🏻

Hello, Penang! 👋🏻
We’re popping up at this coming Wednesday (28/5), serving some nice kopi from 9 AM to 5 PM.

We’ll be brewing three seasonal coffees roasted by :
• Koke Indigo Ethiopia – CM Natural Heirloom
• Colombia Yacuanquer – Washed Caturra & Castillo
• Caballero Honduras – Washed Gesha

We’ll also be serving our Atap Blend and Necropolis Blend, roasted by .

After the pop-up, we’ll be hanging out at .my for their coffee competitions and event. Because of that, our shop will be closed from Wednesday (28/5) to Saturday (31/5), and will resume operations on Sunday (1/6).

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Wish us luck—and we hope to see you all soon!

This weekend must be particularly auspicious, as we will be attending the weddings of two close friends back to back 💒

As a result, we will close earlier than usual tomorrow, Friday (16/5), from 8am to 5pm, and we will be closed on Saturday (17/5). We will be back to brewing again on Sunday (18/5) ☕️

Our coffee shop will be closed tomorrow (Sunday, 13/4) as our barista is off to enjoy his long-awaited birthday meal—somewhere out on a farm! 👩‍🌾
