Goodbye from Hongdae Ipgu Korean Restaurant 💔
Dear friends and valued customers,
After much thought and with heavy hearts, we must announce that Hongdae Ipgu Korean Restaurant will be closing its doors.
Unfortunately, an absurd increase in rental costs has made it impossible for us to continue operating in our current location. While this decision was not easy, we feel it is the only way forward.
For years, we’ve been honoured to share authentic Korean flavours with you, celebrate birthdays, graduations, and quiet weeknight dinners together. Your support, laughter, and loyalty have meant the world to us, and we will always be grateful for the community we built here.
Though this chapter is ending, we hope the spirit of Hongdae Ipgu lives on in the memories we’ve made with all of you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for dining with us, supporting us, and becoming part of our extended family.
With love and gratitude,
The Hongdae Ipgu Team
