People often know me for setting up dessert tables at wedding events, but my responsibilities go far beyond that.
I have also been entrusted with preparing the VVIP table, especially for Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. This responsibility requires meticulous planning and attention to every detail. I need to ensure the menu is prepared correctly, identify which VVIP guests will be seated with Tun, determine Tun’s seating position, and make sure his favourite dishes and fruits are served as requested by the YKP team.
This is never an easy task. Every detail must follow strict protocols, and before Tun’s arrival, the YKP team monitors every minute to ensure the table is perfectly arranged and ready.
Being trusted with such an important responsibility is truly an honour. It has taught me that excellence is found in the smallest details, and professionalism is measured by consistency, precision, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
I am grateful for every opportunity and every trust placed in me. Experiences like these have shaped me into the person I am today.
