It has been a while since we've posted recipes so here's a quick & easy recipe that you would definitely want to try!
KONJAC CHAR KUEY TEOW
1 packet Slim Feast Konjac Fettucine/ Kueyteow
Paste:
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp Dried shrimp - soaked in hot water
1/2 tsp black & white pepper
1 Chicken fillet - diced
4 prawns
1 eggs
2 tsp Tamari
1 tsp fish sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt to taste
Beansprouts
Chinese chives (kuchai)
How to:
1) Prep the konjac - Wash, rinse, pan-fry. Set aside.
2) Blend garlic, dried shrimp & pepper to make a paste.
3) Heat oil in a wok on medium heat and saute the paste until fragrant.
4) Add the chicken & prawn, saute until cook. Add eggs.
When the eggs is half done add the konjac kueteow. Stir to blend.
5) Then add the seasonings - Tamari, fish sauce, sesame oil and salt. Turn up the heat to high and continue to cook until everything is well blended with the Konjac kueyteow.
6) Lastly add the beansprouts & chives. Stir fry for a couple of minutes and then turn off the heat.
