YummyLicious started in November 2011 as a home based food delivery startup. After a series of pop up stores at events and restaurants, we finally had our own restaurant, The KopiShop by YummyLicious at Damansara Heights from August 2015 until July 2016.

We had taken a long break from 2016 until 2022 by supporting other local F&B brands by featuring their mouth-watering and delicious food in our social media. We love to support good people in our F&B community and we hope to do more in the future. We have also taken the time to fine tune our ideas and concepts for our up-coming restaurants and exciting new cafes.

WE ARE COMING BACK IN 2023 and we will make the official announcement soon. Look forward to see all of you in our restaurants and cafes soon ❤️

If you have the budget and in the mood for juicy and succulent lobster, there is no better place than Kay’s Steak & Lobster 🦞 🥩 The Lobster Thermidor was cooked to perfection and the Kagoshima A5 Wagyu was the most tender and mouthwatering steak that we have had in our dining experience.

Service was efficient and friendly. Top marks to Kay’s Steak & Lobster for a magical dining experience ❤️

We love Japanese food and we are blown away with the creativity and richness of flavour in the dishes served at Ishin Japanese Dining. This is not your typical or ordinary Japanese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur as they have elevated their standards to higher expectations, especially to gourmet diners.

Everything about Ishin Japanese Dining is about perfection - from their private dining rooms, the utensils and of course, the beautiful and delicious food. We just absolutely love the Gindara Teriyaki Tei as the black cod fish was cooked to perfection. The Teba Gyoza or grilled stuffed chicken wing is delightful and full of flavours.

We ordered a few takeaways from Ishin Japanese Dining and we were pleasantly surprised that all of our orders are neatly packed in a box that keeps the food warm for the trip home. Our sushi was nicely packed with an ice pack to keep it chilled.

Ishin Japanese Dining definitely exceeded our expectation and we’ll be back to sample the rest of their dished in their menu.

We were craving for Kelantanese food recently and we were shocked that the few restaurants in Klang Valley that serve delicious dishes from Kelantan had closed down permanently.

Therefore, we were pleasantly surprised when we found Nasi Tupe Soho that delivers Nasi Tumpang or Nasi Tupe, a rice dish from Kelantan. Nasi Tumpang is rice with different layers of dishes wrapped in a coned shaped banana leaf.

Nasi Tupe Soho retains the original recipe for Nasi Tumpang that have been passed down several generations to preserve the culturally diverse food heritage in Malaysia 🇲🇾

We read the positive reviews for Yue Chinese Restaurant at Sheraton Hotel, Petaling Jaya and we were prepared to be blown away by their specially curated menu. The dishes from Yue exceeded our expectations by staying true to Chinese cuisine with a touch of the chef’s creativity and spark of brilliance.

Our favourites are the Imperial Smoked Duck wrapped in Egg Pancake served with Beijing sauce and Flat Noodles and Baked Cod Fish topped with Wasabi and Chef’s Special Sauce. Absolutely delightful!

We recently broke fast with the dishes that have gone viral, the Lamb Shank and Kabsah Chicken, both served with Mandi Rice and Saffron Egg from Chef Ammar Ali who is a Palestine-born chef in Malaysia.

We love the fragrant smoked Mandi Rice but the real star of Chef Ammar Ali is definitely his Lamb Shank. The Lamb Shank is slow cooked to perfection and the lamb meat cuts like butter as it is so soft, tender and juicy.

We waited in line for more than an hour for this but so worth it. Pre-Ramadan supper of the most delicious Yong Tau Foo from Ah Keong Yong Tau Foo at Damansara Uptown. Salam Ramadan to all Muslims who are fasting and we are grateful to all of you for your support since we started our startup in 2011.

Since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, the first food post for 2022 is The Travelling Duck and their lovely roasted ducks. Heralded as the Wagyu of roasted ducks, the Bayswater-stye roasts of London Duck is famous for their Irish-origin, fat-rich breed of duck that literally melts in your mouth with the perfect balance of flavours with tender and moist duck meat.

Definitely the best roasted duck in Klang Valley. We’ll be back for more for sure.
