Hello all, I would like to share some news with you. 28th February 2021 will be our last day of service. I would not want to bicker and blame the pandemic. In fact, 2020 I’ve a plan to expend TYW, move out of this experiential shop front, grow TYW to be bigger and crazier, so we could take on more work and essentially make this business more sustainable and profitable. Truth be told, the business nature has now changed, COVID actually has really forced us to analyse the way we do business and the more I take into consideration the more it’s no longer like what I initially wanted it to be. So, with the pandemic or not, it wouldn’t make a difference. Hence, I believe it’s time to say goodbye for now and this decision has not come lightly, but the time feels right.
5 years ago, the humble beginnings as a home baking business in the tiny kitchen of an apartment going events and bazaar on alternate weekends. To having a shop front space for is not easy by any means. I’ve learned so much over the years. Most importantly it’s far from being all rainbows and unicorns like it may seem. As with life, there are highs and lows, also there is good and bad. So right now I’m going to focus on the good and positive that I’ve taken away from this experience.
I’ve been fortunate to supply some incredible events, to have had so many amazing customers, that chose us to help you celebrate birthdays, weddings and new arrivals. I’ll forever be thankful for your support and allowing my tiny team to be part of your celebrations. Thank you for coming back every time for more with an insatiable appetite for our baked goods.
Also, I’ve been grateful to be part of this BU community, ‘your friendly neighbourhood cake shop’.
With heavy hearts, we will be shutting down our oven for now, if you would like to order any baked goods from us one last time, you may drop us a message.
Thank you so much for the continuing support and love and apologise for our mistakes through out these years.
