Hari ini kami melakar satu lagi langkah bermakna menerusi pelancaran Program Inisiatif Ihsan Food Bank: i-FB @ KFC Harvest, hasil usahasama strategik antara QSR Brands dan Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri & Kos Sara Hidup (KPDN) di KFC Bandaran KK Utara, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (7 Jun 2026).
Program ini membuktikan bahawa apabila kerajaan dan sektor korporat berganding bahu, lebihan makanan bukan lagi pembaziran, sebaliknya menjadi sumber harapan buat mereka yang memerlukan.
Majlis pelancaran telah disempurnakan oleh YB Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup. Turut hadir adalah YBhg Datuk Roziah binti Abudin, Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha, Pembangunan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup KPDN, YBhs En. Mohd Zaid bin Idris, Setiausaha Bahagian, Bahagian Kos Sara Hidup, Pn. Loi Liang Tok, Ketua KFC Malaysia, Brunei, dan Kemboja, dan En. Ridzwan Othman, Ketua Pegawai Jenama QSR Brands.
Majlis pelancaran ini melibatkan 10 restoran KFC di Sabah dan akan diperluaskan ke Sarawak. Ini merupakan tambahan kepada 162 cawangan di Semenanjung Malaysia, dan disertai oleh rakan-rakan NGO yang baru menyertai inisiatif KFC Harvest Project, iaitu JETSIN/Dapur Kita-Kita, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Consumer Front of Sabah (CFOS), Persatuan Kebajikan dan Pembangunan Anak Papar (PAKAR), Persatuan Inspirasi Wanita Sabah, Tuaran Youth Town Club, Sahabat IKRAR, Persatuan Setiakawan Sabah, dan Dewan Perniagaan Tionghua Papar. Tidak ketinggalan, penghargaan buat rakan kolaborasi lama program KFC Harvest, Kechara Soup Kitchen, yang terus komited bersama kami.

Today marks another meaningful milestone with the launch of the Inisiatif Ihsan Food Bank Programme: i-FB @ KFC Harvest, a strategic collaboration between QSR Brands and the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) at KFC Bandaran KK Utara, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (7 June 2026).
This programme is a reminder that when government and the corporate sectors work hand in hand, surplus food is no longer wasted, but instead becomes a source of hope for those in need.
The launch ceremony was officiated by YB Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living. Also in attendance were YBhg Datuk Roziah binti Abudin, Deputy Secretary-General (Domestic Trade Development), KPDN, YBhs Encik Mohd Zaid bin Idris, Division Secretary of the Cost of Living Division, Ms. Loi Liang Tok, Head of KFC Malaysia, Brunei and Cambodia, and Mr. Ridzwan Othman, Chief Brand Officer of QSR Brands.
The launch involves 10 KFC restaurants in Sabah and expanding to Sarawak. This is in addition to 162 restaurants in Peninsular Malaysia, and is supported by newly onboarded NGO partners under the KFC Harvest Project, namely JETSIN/Dapur Kita-Kita, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Consumer Front of Sabah (CFOS), Persatuan Kebajikan dan Pembangunan Anak Papar (PAKAR), Persatuan Inspirasi Wanita Sabah, Tuaran Youth Town Club, Sahabat IKRAR, Persatuan Setiakawan Sabah, and Dewan Perniagaan Tionghua Papar. We also extend our appreciation to our long-time KFC Harvest partner, Kechara Soup Kitchen, for their continued commitment and support.
