We are always happy to hear our guests enjoyed their stay with us:

very good value for money, outstanding views, friendly hosts.
+ Veranda Nautica is about 10 min up the hill from Kuah town. Although the approach is a bit steep and in the middle of the woods, its well worth the journey uphill. The view is absolutely breathtaking, offering a full panorama of the Kuah town, the bay and the many islands in it. Surrounded by thick foliage, one can see families of spectacled langurs and hornbills. Gordon and Norlida and very gracious and friendly hosts with plenty of tips to explore the island. Gordon assisted us rent a motorbike and arrange boat tours to see the mangrove forests on the north of the island. They have 3 lovely and friendly dogs who are playful and always looking for cuddles. :) the room is clean and very tastefully decorated with antique Chinese furniture and well equipped with all the necessary amenities like fan, airconditioning, etc. Breakfast includes fresh fruits and cereals, juice and coffee and is delicious. We thank both for their kindness and hospitality.

One for the view
This is the place to stay on Langkawi!.
+ Wow! It couldn't be better! Many thanks to Gordon and his wife. Super friendly and helpful! Very family atmosphere! They picked us up directly from the airport. As soon as we arrived at our accommodation, scooters were already waiting for us. These must be booked in advance and are highly recommended for mobility. The accommodation was very clean. Breakfast takes place on the veranda at the hosts' home every morning by prior arrangement. Gordon has the best recommendations for local food and direct contacts for all boat tours. We went on a jet ski tour and it was awesome! 🤩
Before I forget: the view from the veranda gets 12/10 points.
- Nothing! Just be aware that the accommodation is located a bit outside the town. Therefore, arrange for a scooter to be organized for a small amount of money, and then that won't be a problem either. Traffic on Langkawi is really very relaxed and not a problem even for Europeans.

+ We spent 2 nights in Veranda Nautica, and it was amazing stay!

First of all, owners met us and allowed to have early check in as well as late check out. Im very thankful to this.

Second thing is that location and the view is picturesque!!! Imagine that you are living in the forest, kinda jungles with a lot of different trees, flowers and the view is stunning-town below and a sea with multiple green islands are in front of you!!! Wow!!!
L9cation is verily close to all facilities, restaurants, banks, petrol station, jetty!

Thirdly, it is very peaceful and calm place where you dont hear anything which can disturb you!!! Only 3 nice dogs are on duty, but they are not bothering at all! Moreover, they are so cute and playful!
Accommodation is very very clean, you have a small minibar with cold drinks, which is also favorable after some day trips once you are coming back to Veranda.

As I told in the beginning, owners , Gordon and his wife are so helpful, friendly and advising how abd where to spend time better, even Gordon helped us to book SPA with nice massage at the same day of arrival and later booked fishing trip for us!!!

+ Firstly, the view from Veranda Nautica was absolutely insane! It was absolute paradise. Secondly, Gordon and Norlida were the best hosts we have ever had. It felt like we were staying with family. They gave us great suggestions and when I thought I had potentially lost my purse and panicked, I sent them a message and they checked our room straight away and found it. Thirdly, we really loved Kuah and how it was away from the tourist area. We really liked the restaurants, cafe and shopping, Kuah tower and the park next to Kuah tower.
- Nothing. What I would say is that the road to get to Veranda Nautica may be a bit daunting for some people and we hired a scooter. This ended up being fantastic and we were able to zip around the island on our own schedule. I think if you are unable/don't want to drive, I think you could manage getting Grabs in the day and walking down the hill slightly to get a Grab.

Hidden gem for our honeymoon ♥️
+ This place is a hidden gem in Langkawi, perfect for a honeymoon. we had so much fun and Mr. Gordon and Mrs. Norlida was so friendly and so helpful they guide us to everything we want to do and even served us late breakfast which was very appreciated, breakfast was nice I really liked the fruit dish and the Malaysian jam. The room was decorated amazingly and clean, internet, clean towels and bed. This place is up the hill which will give you a wonderful view morning and night. Thank you for making our honeymoon a memorable experience will definitely come again in our anniversary 🥰
- The only thing we had difficulty in was that some drivers will cancel the trip just because it’s up the hill, but we didn’t mind it because the location was unique. Also ordering food would be difficult to deliver, but we brought our food and Mr. Gordon was so kind to let us use his microwave to heat it up.

Paradise .
+ Hosts could not have been more welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay with them was exceptional. . The views were stunning and the area so peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was superb with the hosts making fresh bread each morning . We cannot recommend this little piece of paradise enough.
- There was honestly nothing . The views, the local area, the hosts made this stay truly magical.
