Today, with heavy hearts, we bid farewell to one of the longest-serving members of the Izakaya family, who passed away this morning.
For many years, he was a trusted assistant to our Head Chef and a respected pillar of our kitchen. Always smiling, always dependable, and always willing to help his teammates, he brought warmth, dedication, and positivity to everyone around him.
Through his skillful hands and unwavering commitment, he helped prepare countless memorable meals for distinguished guests, including former to current Governors of Sarawak, Chief Minister to Ministers, and many prestigious events over the years. His dedication, passion, and pride in his work could be seen in every dish that left the kitchen.
More than his work, he will be remembered for his humble nature, kind heart, and the joy he brought to our team each day. His legacy will forever remain a part of Izakaya and the standards of excellence we continue to uphold.
We are deeply grateful for the years, memories, and dedication he shared with us.
Rest in peace. You will always be remembered and dearly missed.❤️
