This weekend, many will:
• Clean the house (扫尘 - sweeping away bad luck)
• Shop for new clothes (穿新衣 - fresh start)
• Stock up on CNY goodies (preparing for visiting)

But there's one thing often forgotten until last minute:

• Have to settle for frozen ingredients

Every CNY, my family gathers around the table, chopsticks ready, and we toss as HIGH as we can.

The kids laugh. The adults shout blessings. Everyone's hoping for good fortune this year.
