2025年9月18日，我们怀着无比感恩而又不舍的心情宣布——香港面粥家位于Wisma Saberkas的店面，即将正式结业。
自1986年开业以来，我们在这方小小的空间里，用一碗粥、一筷面，陪伴了古晋人三十九年的时光。许多孩子在这里吃了第一碗粥，许多年轻人在这里谈天说地，许多长辈在这里慢慢变老。我们从青丝到白发，也见证了一代又一代人的成长与故事。
这些年来，我们的粥香飘遍了Wisma Saberkas的每一个角落：
清晨的烧鸭面温暖过匆忙上班的你，午间的铁板面抚慰过饥肠辘辘的我，傍晚的鸳鸯芥兰陪伴过放学归来的他们……每一个时刻，都成为我们心中最珍贵的记忆。
2020年，一场突如其来的疫情改变了世界。我们不能堂食，只能倚靠外卖继续经营。在那段艰难的日子里，是你们一次次的支持、，让我们坚持了下来。每一位冒雨来取餐的顾客，每一通暖心鼓励的电话，我们都铭记于心。
然而，疫情过后客流渐稀，建筑日渐老化，市场竞争也更加激烈。在经过多次考虑与挣扎后，我们不得不做出这个艰难的决定——告别这个经营了三十九年的老家。
但告别不是结束，而是另一种延续。
如果你还想念那一碗热粥、一烧鸭面的滋味，欢迎来到我们位于Padungan的分店。味道没变，情怀依旧，我们仍在那里，继续用食物温暖每一个需要安慰的灵魂。
店铺会结束，但故事和回忆永远不会消失。
感谢三十九年来每一位顾客的厚爱，感谢Wisma Saberkas这座楼宇承载了我们近乎一生的时光。但愿这碗粥的温暖，曾在你人生的某一刻，给过你一丝慰藉与力量。

With hearts full of gratitude and reluctance, we announce the closing of Hong Kong Noodle House at Wisma Saberkas.

Since 1986, this little shop has carried thirty-nine years of memories. Through bowls of congee and plates of noodles, we have walked alongside the people of Kuching. Children tasted their first congee here; young friends shared laughter and conversations; elders spent countless quiet afternoons with us. From youth to old age, from black hair to white, we have witnessed generations grow and change, and countless stories unfold.

The aroma of our food has filled every corner of Wisma Saberkas:
Roast duck noodles warmed the mornings of those rushing to work, sizzling hotplate noodles satisfied hungry stomachs at noon, and stir-fried kailan accompanied students returning from school in the evenings. These moments are now our most cherished memories.

The pandemic in 2020 changed everything. We could no longer serve dine-in customers and had to rely on takeaway orders to survive. It was your support that sustained us — every customer who braved the rain to collect a meal, every encouraging phone call — we remember them all.

But after the pandemic, foot traffic declined, the building aged, and competition grew fiercer. After long consideration and much struggle, we had no choice but to make this painful decision — to part ways with the place we called home for thirty-nine years.

Yet, farewell is not the end, but another kind of continuation.

If you miss that bowl of warm congee or a plate of roast duck noodles, we welcome you to our branch at Padungan. The flavors remain unchanged, and our hearts remain the same. We are still here, ready to offer comfort through food.

The shop may close, but the memories and stories will stay with us forever.

Thank you for your love over the past thirty-nine years. Thank you, Wisma Saberkas, for carrying almost a lifetime of our journey. May a bowl of our congee, at some point in your life, have given you warmth and strength.
