With a heavy heart we would to inform that we decided to close our teppanyaki bar at Zainab Family Cafe.

Yesterday, 28th of February was our last service. Thank you for all your support, the journey was good. See you guys again!

This time, Kaizen 3.0 menu is about paying homage to the original Japanese Teppanyaki, but at the same time bringing the food to a new level and to show to the customers that food, even teppanyaki can be elevated. •CUMIN LAMB•

Originated from Xi’an, a region in China, capital city of Shaanxi province. Known for the uses of the bold flavours such as cumin and dried chilli.

The aroma has distinct musky scent of cumin but it is together with other flavours to give it more complex flavour.

A dash of dried chilli, yet the spiciness is just nice, this lamb dish still stuck out as something different, exotic. Deviating from the usual marination of ginger and soy. The layering of flavours is something else and amazingly unfolded in your mouth with every bite of the lamb.
