SILVER AWARD (3D Jelly Live Challenge) at SARAWAK INTERNATIONAL CULINARY CHALLENGE
This medal means more to me than just an award.It represents the courage to step outside my comfort zone and challenge myself in something I truly love which is 3D Jelly Art.
This was my very first Live Challenge, held right here in Kuching, and I was the only participant from Kuching in the 3D Jelly Live Challenge, representing Sarawak.
Standing among talented and experienced jelly artists from Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines and Sabah, I honestly felt so small. They are artists with years of experience, incredible techniques and beautiful artistic skills. I knew I had so much more to learn.
But I decided to show up anyway.
I competed not because I thought I was the best, but because I wanted to challenge myself, experience something new and learn from people who are already so far ahead in their journey.And walking away with a Silver Award as a Sarawak representative… I’m truly grateful. 🥹
It reminded me that sometimes, we don’t have to be the best to take the first step. We just need the courage to try, the humility to learn, and the heart to keep going.This experience has made me realise that my jelly journey is still just beginning. There is so much more for me to learn, improve and create. I may not be a master yet, but I’m proud that I had the courage to stand on that stage, represent Sarawak and give my very best.
