翠華樓創業於1982年,在增江北區的一個小檔口營業.1983年租一間小店鋪即翠華樓飯店. 東主親力親為,把自己所學的廚藝,配合服務週到大眾化的價格獲得顧客支持認同.
1989年在甲洞衛星市成立翠華樓酒家分店承辦結婚酒席,社團活動及家庭用餐的酒樓.
1992年,位於斯裡白沙羅鎮(Bandar Sri Damansara)開設新翠華樓分行.
2002 年續擴充營業,租下舊增江北區戲院裝修成大型酒家,恰逢二十週年,舉行開幕及週年慶典,留下美好的記憶！賴氏兄弟努力創業,也萌起心中一個擁有自己酒家的夢想.
延于2009年,注入巨資建三層富麗堂皇及風格獨特,且能容納四百席的宴會廳.地點適中,環境優雅.
2010年開幕,集中在現址營業,事業再創佳績! Restaurant Choi Wah founded in 1982 by the Lai’s Family and open for business from small stall in Jinjang. Soon after in 1983 from small stall we moved to shop lot and expand the business named “Choi Wah Restaurant”. The proprietor who likes to cook and would like to share with their guest and to receive feedback also provide good service and fair price is their motto. Respond and good support recognition from customer were good. In 1989, the first Choi Wah outlets opened in Kepong Baru and began to host marriage banquet community activities and family dining service
In 1992, there is a new branch in Bandar Sri Damansara. In 2002, we rented a cinema hall in Jinjang renovated into a large Restaurant Choi Wah celebrate the opening ceremony plus 20th anniversary celebration together. Lai’s entrepreneurial and brothers have achieved their own dreams to have an own restaurant. In 2009 the new construction of a three magnificent and unique style building and can accommodate up to 400 seats banquet hall. Location of the banquet hall is convenient plus environment is really elegant. Choi Wah Restaurant has re-opened in 2010 at Bandar Manjalara, Kepong.
