Dear guests,

We are excited to kick off our STUDIO & FRIENDS series for 2026 with

Good friends & are cooking together for one night only on Wednesday 15th April. We’ll be showcasing some of the ingredients & flavours that define Dewakan’s philosophy, paired with our own European proteins & sensibility.

A hybrid of cooking styles making it a unique dinner.

We’ll serve a 7 course tasting menu with snacks; beverage pairing by & (a non alcoholic pairing will also be offered).

Dinner & drinks is 940++ per person.

Due to the nature of this event we cannot accommodate dietary restrictions.

Roasted & pressed bean curd tartlet, a base of avocado crème fraîche followed by diced hamachi mixed with an aguachili jelly made from local citrus’s & habaneros.
Finished with a generous amount of keluga caviar & Spanish olive oil. An unintentional Mexican outcome.

Accolades & awards matter especially for small independent businesses like ours, the acknowledgment helps drives awareness but they’re never the end goal & they are not what defines us. What’s matters is our guests leave happy & want to return again & again.

A relaxed contemporary experience in the suburb of Bangsar Kuala Lumpur, favouring warm guest centred hospitality over formality.

Unshackled by geography, produce is sourced locally as well as globally, inspired by travel, incredible ingredients & served with a European sensibility. A universal restaurant with an affection for the sea, flavour forward cooking and a dedication to creativity & originality.

At Studio, we work with a wide range of winemakers who treat their vines with respect. We focus on low intervention & interesting wines that are made by hand, with passion and attention, and pair perfectly with our food.
