Thank you to all the customers who came in last night! We were full house the whole night! For those unable to get a seat we are extremely sorry and hope to see you another time.
Many customers came in for the special menu but it had completely sold out at an early hour. We would like to apologise.
Today we have been preparing since morning for our appetizers and special menu!

We have tried a new recipe, popular in Japan but not well known here. It is pork liver wrapped in a net of pork fat, fried alongside our homemade salt and lemon sauce. It is great for ladies who are lacking iron in their diets!

We have also gotten fresh horse mackerel which has been prepared in 3 ways. Simmered pork intestines has also been restocked!

Today we have bought lots of fresh horse Mackerel. They have been prepared in 3 different sashimi methods; tataki (sliced), namero (Minced and marinated) and kobujime (pickled in kelp and vinegar).
We have also prepared juicy chicken Hamburgs. Enjoy them as a refreshing side complimented by the ponzu sauce.

Today's obanzai is egg-soaked freeze-dried tofu, stir-fried mapo okra, braised tuna, etc.

I got some small lemonsole, so I stewed it in a sweet soy sauce.

It can be served as a salad or as a donburi bowl. Please have it the way you prefer.
Yesterday we have turned away some customers due to the lack of side dishes, therefore, today we have made extra to accommodate many more customers.

Since this photo and article was published in the Malay Mail, it has become a staple dish ordered by the majority of customers who visit our restaurant.

Grilled eggplant is a very simple dish.

Anyone can make this dish with just delicious fresh eggplant and strong fingers to peel it while it's still hot from being slowly roasted over an open flame….

The shop is closed today. I want to take it easy and take care of my body and my finger.

We are extremely thankful and apologise to the customer's that weren't able to have a seat although they travelled all the way to our restaurant for a meal.

I have found very fresh filefish (ikan ayam) at the market today. I will be preparing it as karaage as we haven't had filefish in a long time.

The fresh Asari clams will be served as a garlic sautee or as a soup.
