This dish consists of fish, typically mackerel that is braised with turmeric, tamarind, bambangan (wild mango), okra and other herbs. Slow-cooked until the fish is tender and infused with the flavours. The tangy and slightly spicy taste best served with our Linopot (yam rice) and enhanced by our homemade sambal belacan. This dish is beautiful blend of culture, history, and gastronomy.
