𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘀.
𝗛𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀.

For more than a decade, architect and artist Cheng Peng Sia（锺槟城） has quietly sketched the streets, buildings and everyday moments that have shaped Kuala Lumpur.

Each drawing is more than a record of a place. It is a memory preserved, capturing not only the architecture, but also the light, atmosphere and stories that make each corner of the city unique.

As you walk through 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗞𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗿 (那些年，我们走过的吉隆坡), we hope you'll slow down, look a little closer, and perhaps rediscover a place that has quietly become part of your own story.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.

Starting this Friday, Bubble Bee Cafe is honoured to present Walking Through Kuala Lumpur (那些年，我们走过的吉隆坡) — an urban sketch exhibition by architect and artist Cheng Peng Sia (锺槟城).

Drawn entirely on location, each sketch captures more than just the city's buildings. They preserve the light, atmosphere, people and memories that make Kuala Lumpur feel like home.

Whether it's a familiar street, a favourite coffee shop, or a place you've walked past countless times, we hope these sketches bring back a story of your own.

So the next time you visit Bubble Bee, stay a little longer. Enjoy a coffee, slow down, and take a walk through Kuala Lumpur — one sketch at a time.
