In a blink of an eye six years ago we embarked on a journey of bringing back heritage recipes, jungle produce not known by city folks and reframed traditional recipes in a modern way. Unusual and unheard of jungle produce such as buah kulim, kulat kukur and so many more were turned into dishes that delighted a new generation of diners, and inspired many to learn more about local culinary arts and ingredients. Even a simple w**d, the air mata pengantin which we use to embellish our plating presentation and a signature of OpenHouse has been revived on so many other tables. We are grateful to everyone who came over the years, and especially post-pandemic to support our journey. This journey and story continues at our new location at 2 Jalan Stonor, diving deeper into the origins of our cuisine, with an ulam garden to further our exploration of our natural bounty. Here to another six more years!
