2025 was a bittersweet year for soulsac. It was a year of many small refinements, upgrades and best of all, of seeing many new faces and regulars at the cafe. Sadly, it is also the year that i lost my beloved mother, who passed away after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Soulsac was born out of naivety, curiosity and somewhat reckless passion. A recipe for disaster one might say for a young entrepreneur. Most importantly, it survived and carried on through a mother's blessings and prayers. Through all the struggles and difficult moments where we had no clue or answers, her nod and assurance was all i needed to know that we're doing good and on the right path. Amongst her many blessings, giving up was never one of it. This is what i genuinely believe made us be where we are now.
Thank you to our customers for another wonderful year and I would like to dedicate 2025 to my beloved mother, my oracle and my protector, Zaiton Binti Kassim. Without her love, faith and undying support, this little cafe would never have happened and we would probably never have met each other over a cup of coffee. May Allah bless her soul and place her amongst the righteous in Jannah, Amin. ♥️
