Some of you may have caught wind of what's happening and we're here to officially clarify it for you. After much reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Mangkuk after May.
Despite our best efforts through new dishes and promotions, the business hasn’t been as sustainable as we had hoped. We’ve been incredibly lucky to have a community of regulars who truly believe in what we do, and we’re deeply grateful for that. But the reality is, the quiet spells between the busy days have grown harder to weather.
We’re not sure when or how we’ll return—but this isn’t goodbye forever. Whether it’s in a few months or a few years, we know Mangkuk will live on in one form or another.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of this journey with us. Your support, your kind words, your visits—they’ve been the reason we kept going, and they’ll always stay with us as the most meaningful part of this chapter.
