Eat and Cook

Eat and Cook We presents creative cuisine but served in OMAKASE way by using fresh ingredient from our homeland The name of our restaurant sums up what we’re about.

We’re a team of adventurous eaters & cooks constantly seeking flavorful new frontiers. We believe that food is a window to cultural diversity, and Malaysia is the best example of that. From all our accumulated time spent abroad embracing the unknown and experimenting with ingredients from our backyard, we want to bring it all on the table for you to experience through our mouthwatering menu. Life’

s too short to be making predictable decisions – especially when it comes to food. You enter with an appetite to eat and our chefs will decide what to cook for you – right in front of you. We believe food presents us with a special opportunity to bond, interact and create memories in a significant way. We want to take you on a deliciously enjoyable journey to places you haven’t been, creating a shared experience with a loved one or loved ones. We invite you to leave your expectations at the door and let yourself be surprised, whether you’re a true foodie, a food critic, or just someone looking to have some fun with friends and family. Our philosophy stems from the Omakase tradition of giving the chef creative freedom on deciding your courses for you. Every dining experience is delightfully unpredictable and artfully prepared to engage all your senses.

To the man who stood strong in silence,
whose love was steady and true —
we honour you.

Even fathers do deserve love and respect,
as they are the pillar of the family.

We, Eat and Cook - wish every Father in this world a joyful day.
Happy Father's Day

Today marks our final service at our current home. 🥀

As we close our doors for relocation, our hearts are full of gratitude.

To every guest who has dined with us, supported us, and believed in our vision—thank you.

Your trust and loyalty have shaped our journey, and every plate we’ve served carries a part of that story.

Though it’s bittersweet, we’re taking this step to serve you even better, in a new space designed with you in mind.

This isn’t goodbye—it’s a new beginning.

Stay tuned for updates on our next chapter.

Until then, from all of us at Eat and Cook—terima kasih and see you soon. ❤️

One Bite at a Time 🇲🇾✨

When tradition meets technique, something extraordinary happens. At Eat and Cook, the omakase journey isn’t just a meal—it’s an intimate dialogue between heritage and haute cuisine.

Today, we honour the women whose love is the first flavour we ever knew — warm, comforting, and everlasting. 🌸

To every mother, near or far, thank you for the quiet strength, the loud laughter, the gentle hands, and the hearts that never stop giving. You’ve seasoned our lives with love in its purest form.

From all of us at Eat and Cook, Happy Mother’s Day. May your day be filled with the same care and grace you so freely give — and a table full of love, beautifully served.

Strawberry of the Terra

A tribute to the highlands and hands behind Malaysia’s most fragrant fruit.

From the misty Cameron Highlands, we present rare white Malaysian strawberries—organically grown with minimal sunlight to heighten their aroma and acidity, and handpicked at peak ripeness by trusted local farmers.

The Serving Concept
• Gently Steamed White Strawberry
Served warm to release glycogen, enhancing natural sweetness, umami depth, and a sun-cooked softness that melts on the tongue.
• Strawberry Kombucha Cleanser
A lightly fizzy, house-fermented wild strawberry kombucha with hibiscus and lemongrass, served chilled to refresh the palate with floral tartness after richer courses.

The Fisherman’s Gift (part 2)

A tribute to our coastal heritage and the treasures of the mangrove jungle.

Female roe crab, delicately harvested, with its meat transformed into a nostalgic otak-otak custard infused with house-made rempah.

The shell returns—reborn with a rich coconut & crab curry, paired with a cold crab claw and silky toddy jelly for contrast with chef Lee favourite raja ulam flower.

Finished with a bite-sized Bario black rice waffle, perfect for dipping into the curry’s depths.

A dish born from nature, memory, and the sea.

Kedungdung Lollipop Ice with Finger Lime and Asam Boi

A refreshing palate cleanser inspired by Chef Lee’s childhood memories of vibrant ice pops. This playful creation features a round-shaped lollipop ice made from kedungdung—a local green ambarella known for its tart and tropical notes—infused with the bold, tangy character of asam boi.

Finished with delicate pearls of fresh finger lime from a sustainable farm in Shah Alam, it offers a burst of citrusy sparkle that refreshes the palate while evoking a sense of nostalgia and Malaysian childhood joy.

Our house-made oyster sauce is crafted with meticulous care, using fresh oysters that are slow-brewed to extract their natural sweetness and briny depth.

This essence is then reduced with Mu artisan sun-dried soy sauce, resulting in a velvety, umami-rich creation with subtle smokiness and layered complexity. Free from artificial enhancers, our sauce delivers a pure, oceanic depth with a smooth, lingering finish.

Handmade noodles, with their perfectly chewy and bouncy texture, absorb the oyster sauce beautifully, allowing its deep umami to coat each strand.

Finished with oyster water foam and delicate fennel flowers for an elegant touch.
