Love is in the air and our kitchen is buzzing with excitement over the menu we have prepared for tonight - Mandarin ducks are a traditional symbol of love in Chinese culture, with that, it was only fitting that we serve duck on Valentine’s Day.

Dry aged duck, served with Foochow red rice wine lees, with a sidecar of Koshihikari rice cooked in a duck stock seasoned with mandarin peel and 10 year aged preserved turnip. We can’t wait to welcome all our guests tonight 💖

[Announcement] For the month of March 2026, Restaurant Shu KL is closed from Sunday, 1 Mar to Wednesday, 25 Mar for a break.

We will resume service from Thursday, 26 Mar onwards, based on our normal operating schedule of Tuesdays to Saturdays daily for dinner between 6.00pm-11.00pm.

We look forward to coming back refreshed to serve you better ✨

As we wrap up 2025 and get ourselves ready to usher in 2026, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of our journey thus far.

In 2 years since Restaurant Shu KL opened its doors, we have been honored as a MICHELIN Selected Restaurant 2026. This wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support from all our guests, partners and team members who have been a part of Shu’s journey — encouraging, challenging and bettering us every step of the way.

We can't wait to see what’s in store in 2026 and look forward to achieving greater heights and bigger milestones in the next chapter of Restaurant Shu KL with each and everyone of you.

We sit down with Chef Chin to chat about winning the MICHELIN Guide Kuala Lumpur & Penang 2026 Young Chef Award — how he felt, what it meant to him and what's next for him and Restaurant Shu KL.

It may be an individual award, but he credits it to a whole village behind him who have supported him relentlessly and helped make this happen — team members, business partners, shareholders and friends.

We are so proud of as the passionate chef he is, who inspired and guides us to be better at what we do everyday. We can’t wait to see how Chin’s journey will continue to unfold! Congratulations once again from the team at Shu ✨
