婆婆食堂在这一区非常有名因为这间餐厅宛如食堂一样，供应着“平、靓、正”的食物。在2014年十二月低开始营业，在短短一年之内成长迅速的已经在Sri Petaling开了一间分行了。
就像大多数的食堂一样，总会有椰浆饭在你餐单。但这里的椰浆饭并不简单，这可是他们的招牌呢！那饭、江鱼仔、花生、甚至是鸡蛋都经过特别处理。江鱼仔和花生豆经过辣椒粉和砂糖的腌制与翻炒，所带出来的味道明显与其他的不同。“炸蛋”，是炸过的水煮蛋啦。不再是平时所见的太阳煎蛋了。而参巴也是他们自己制作的哦！经过所有特制食材的结合，才能有这独一无二的椰浆饭。
特制椰浆饭太普通？那么你可以试试他们的仁当咖喱配饭！有仁当鸡、咖喱鸡、仁当牛肉以及更多的供你选择！
除了椰浆饭，菜单上还是有其它饭类供你选择的。超过10种不同类型的炒饭、印度香饭系列、需要等待15分钟的特制香辣鸡肉饭。都是让人食指大动的美食啊！
不喜欢吃饭？那就吃面吧！ “婆婆炒粿条”、炒面类、干东炎河粉、东方面类、广府炒、米暹、意大利面系列，以及更多等你来品尝！
怕吃得很有罪恶感？他们所提供一些小食就会是你最好的选择。他们有许多食物可不是那么容易在外面找得到的。“婆婆酥炸豆腐卜”，普通的豆腐卜用不普通的烹调方式。不再是配着汤，软软的吃。而是炸得酥脆，再搭配特殊酱汁来吃的绝佳开胃菜。还有不容你错过的酿豆腐卜，里头塞满了伴着Rojak酱的青瓜后再洒些花生碎在上面。咬上一口，你的嘴巴将会被美味所“占领”得让你说不出话。
面包系列更是给了吃饱却嘴馋的顾客一个好选择。他们的“甩饼炸弹”（Roti Boom）也提供了许多口味搭配一起吃，如：花生酱、冰淇淋、加央、番茄肉碎等等。为什么叫“甩饼炸弹”呢？直译就太过不专业了，而是他们的口感！他们弄了许多层，每一层都香脆可口。每一口咬下，都是这炸弹就炸开的时刻！而他们那特别的全麦面包汉堡，这口味可说是仅有此家了。参巴汉堡、肉松汉堡，你试过了吗？别拿在学校小吃部买的面包相提并论，这将会是你味蕾对美味的新体验啊！
拥有如此特别的食物，当然不会有普通饮料。想要冲击你的味蕾吗？试试他们的香椰奶昔吧！浓郁的椰子香味，再加入椰浆提味。喝一口就知道什么是“好好椰”了！而老板大力推荐的就是这“Tomato Asam Boi”了！这可是来到必点啊！就算不喜欢番茄的朋友，喝过一口都会忍不住想要一喝再喝。然后他们喜欢上番茄了！
不如这间餐厅，手拿餐单的你迟迟不能下定决心。因为选择太多，全部都想要尝尝啊！就算每天来吃，想要全单吃一边都要花些时间呢。而且有这些许多的选择就可以供应给不同需求的顾客了。在餐单上你还可以看到老板的温馨提醒，可见老板的用心之处了。
来这里就像回到学校食堂一样，在享受美食和填饱肚子的同时还能够和朋友欢乐畅谈。这些室内设计都是老板亲手操刀的。为顾客想得周到，再加上餐单以及环境。只能够给老板敬个礼大喊一声“您真内行！”了。

Poppo Kanteen is famous around this area and it is because this restaurant serves as a canteen to everyone, where their concept is affordable yet very delicious food. Opened during late December 2014, just a short 1 year time, it has gain a lot of reputation and has opened a branch in Sri Petaling.
Like most of the canteens, one of the food that they sell is nasi lemak, and is also one of their signature. Their nasi lemak is not just ordinary nasi lemak, the rice, anchovies, peanuts, and even the egg are specially modified. The anchovies and peanuts are fried then seasoned with chili powder and sugar, so it taste really different than others. The egg are fried, not those like sunny side up, after it has hardboiled it, then it went to fried. The sambal are made by them too, till it has became their very own version of nasi lemak.
If you think nasi lemak is too plain for you, you can choose one of the rendang series to spice up your rice! Such as chicken rendang, chicken curry, kembung bersambal, beef rendang and many more!
Other than nasi lemak, they have so much other rice for you to choose from the menu, such as, more than 10 types of fried rice, the briyani rice series, and specialty rice like padprik chicken rice.
Not into rice? They have variety of noodles too! For example, they have their very own “Poppo Char Kuoy Teow”, Mee Goreng (fried noodles), dried tom-yam noodles, oriental noodles like cantonese fried, mee siam, pasta series and so much more!!
Other than heavy meals, their sides and snacks are the best if you want something light. There are a lot of food you can’t get outside for instance, their Poppy crispy tofu, is a normal tofu puff but normally if eaten them outsides are soft and in soup, but at here they fried it and squeeze their very own sauce onto them, what a savory snack. You definitely can’t miss out their tofu sumbat (stuffed tofu), like the name, they stuff food in the tofu, like cucumbers with rojak sauce and peanut on top, when you bite them, you might spilled some since is stuffed.
Their bread series are one of the popular snacks here. Roti boom they have many flavors to eat along with it, peanut butter, ice-cream, kaya, bolognese, and etc. It is very crunchy it’s because they made this “roti” into many layers, so that you will feel the crispy texture for each bite. Their specialty burger, the flavor here no elsewhere can get them. Heard of sambal burger or even serunding burger? If no, you definitely must try, is authentic local taste yet is very new to a lot of people.
We have not touch the drinks yet, if the food can be so different, they can’t miss out on the drinks too. You want taste something strong, try their coconut shake, is really rich in coconut flavor, they add in coconut milk to bring up the taste, when you drink it you will know it is coconut. There is a drink called tomato asam boi, is a must try, even people who doesn’t like tomato, when they drink, they start to like the taste of tomato.
Stepping into the restaurant, looking into the menu, you might not know what to choose, everything look so great, unique and tasty! You can have different type of meal everyday here. Each of the dishes are specially modified to taste differently from others. Just take nasi lemak for example, everything they used and the method are so detailed. You can see that the boss really took heart to make this canteen look as good as possible.
Coming here is just like, going back to school’s canteen and enjoy our meal here and chatting with friends. The interior is also even design by the boss itself. A full respect for the boss, for being considerate to the customers, the menu and also to the environment.
