Assalammualaikum everyone,

Muhajir Kitchen has been operating remotely since 2023, preparing and delivering iftar for individuals in need.

Alhamdulillah, this year we have gathered sufficient funds to provide iftar for the B40 and refugee communities around the Klang Valley.

We hired a local cook, Puan Nor Azizah from Klang and Chef Jawad, a Palestinian chef to cook for iftar throughout this Ramadhan. 500 individuals benefitting from this project and we are hoping to expand to more local and refugee communities in the coming years, inshaAllah.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved, including our team members, cooks, person-in-charge for each community, our refugee driver and donors who continously supporting our efforts. May Allah rewards your kindness abundantly.

We were given an opportunity to serve dinner for and Cerah's event on wednesday 1st June 2022 at Dewan Perhimpunan Cina Kuala Lumpur & Selangor.

The food was prepared by chefs from Somali Refugee community.

The menu consisted of:
Chicken Mandy (rice + salad + sauce)
Chicken samosas
Vegetable samosas
Basbosa
White rice and Bamia
Hot & Cold drinks
Fruits

Hello everyone,

We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has been supporting us since day-1 and specifically throughout the last Ramadhan. It truly means a lot to us especially to our chefs.

All of the profit goes to the chefs and refugee volunteers we engaged for this project. Profit from your orders was able to cover for not only their livelihood but also educational and medical expenses. Our chefs were grateful for the opportunities given to them and agreed to continue with this project even after Ramadhan.

Hence, our team at Muhajir Kitchen decided to continue this project starting from June 2022 onwards. As we are transitioning to the endemic phase, we are accepting catering/buffet styled orders on top of individual set as we offered previously.

We can cater to your office meetings, family gatherings and small parties (breakfast/brunch, lunch, tea & dinner menu are available). If you wish to engage us for your next event, don't hesitate to whatsapp us at 011-61662669 or dm us on fb or ig.

Infaq continues with 60 packs of Chicken Mandy with Chef Ardo's special sauce distributed to the Somali Refugee Community located in Medan Idaman, Gombak.

However, there was an unfortunate incident happened to our driver as he was on his way to deliver customer's orders. He met with an accident but alhamdulillah he is safe.

We apologise as we had to cancel the deliveries but grateful for our customers for their understanding 🙏 InshaAllah, deliveries will resume again tomorrow☺️

Alhamdulillah for all the positive feedbacks we received from our customers for the first 6 days of Muhajir Kitchen, Ramadhan Edition 2022. We truly appreciate your comments and we will work hard to improve our services and food in the future 💞

✨Muhajir Kitchen's focus is to promote our chefs and their signature dishes and, in the spirit of Ramadhan, we also began accepting orders for customers who want to do Infaq.

✨Last week, we received 160 packs of orders for Infaq which have been distributed to 4 underprivilege communities.
