Lucky you, we have Mr. Spencer, the lovely ice cream truck 🚌, filled with the most special & artisanal flavoured ice creams in the town🍦 that would shine your day, to be delivered to your door steps during this pandemic.

Professional training on Matcha conducted by Niko Neko.

Here’s some tips to differentiate quality of Matcha

There are 2 main grades of Matcha, which is ceremonial and culinary grade. Ceremonial are mainly for Japanese tea ceremony uses and culinary is for culinary and baking purposes. Ceremonial are served with hot water and culinary are served with milk.

Colour - The higher the quality, the more vibrant green it is. Lower qualities tend to have a more yellowish/brownish hue. The vibrant green color is due to the shade growing process of Matcha which promotes the overproduction of chlorophyll, which is what gives the tea plants its natural green colour.

Taste - The same amino acids that give Matcha its sweet smell should actually make the tea taste slightly sweet, too. When grown properly, a ceremonial grade Matcha shouldn’t be bitter.

Feel - A high quality Matcha should feel very fine and silky, similar to the feel of eye shadow or baby powder. Lower quality Matcha will have larger particle sizes that feel coarse between the fingers.
